
Cameron Gledhill
National Age Head Coach - St Peters Western
Cameron Gledhill has been coaching for close to 20 years and is currently the Head Age Coach at St Peters Western, the number one swim program in Australia. Over the past decade, he has coached athletes onto both junior and senior Australian teams, including a World Championship silver medalist, two athletes selected for the Paris 2024 Olympics, and multiple para-athletes who have progressed to senior teams. In recent years he has represented Australia as a team coach at international competitions such as the Junior Pan Pacific Championships and Youth Commonwealth Games.
Before joining St Peters Western, Cameron spent four years as Head Coach at Warringah Aquatic, where he led the club from 46th to 4th in the country at the Australian Age National Championships.
Cameron holds degrees in Sports Coaching, Exercise Physiology, and Psychology, and also studied military leadership at the Royal Military College. Cameron is a Platinum level coach recognised by SWIM, and is committed to ongoing development and innovation in coaching. Cameron presented at SWIMCON as part of a panel in 2023. Currently, he is one of two coaches representing Swimming Australia in the AIS Gen32 coach initiative, designed to develop future high-performance coaches for international success.
