Founder - A Splash of Colour Swimming Inc.
Ennia Jones is the founder of A Splash of Colour Swimming Incorporated, a transformative not-for-profit program that dismantles mental, financial, and cultural barriers to swimming. Her initiative promotes social inclusion, mental wellbeing, and water safety, particularly among culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) adults.
As a Dr John Yu Fellow and a 2025 NSW Women of the Year Finalist in the Community Hero category, Ennia is an advocate for inclusion and community-led change. Under her leadership, A Splash of Colour Swimming has grown from a grassroots effort in Newcastle to an expanding regional program reaching Maitland, Lake Macquarie, the Central Coast and beyond. The program was recently honoured as the inaugural recipient of the NSW Royal Life Saving ‘Excellence in Cultural Diversity’ award in 2025.
