Rhiannon Kocmar

Rhiannon Kocmar is the National Education Manager at SWIM Coaches & Teachers Australia, bringing over 27 years of experience to her role as a leader, mentor, and advocate for excellence in aquatic education. From nurturing infants as young as six weeks to coaching elite triathletes, Rhiannon’s impact on the Canberra swimming community is profound and enduring.

Holding a Degree in Sports Coaching and an Advanced Diploma in Sports Coaching, she is also a certified SWIM Australia Teacher, Babies & Toddlers Teacher, Foundation Coach, and a Teacher of Learners with Disability. Her dedication and professionalism have earned her the rare distinction of SWIM Australia Diamond and Platinum Teacher status, as well as the 2023 SWIM Australia Teacher of the Year Award.

A passionate presenter and thought leader, Rhiannon has shared her expertise at key industry events, including national and international SWIMCONS and LIWA in 2024. She is committed to raising the standard of swim education through compliance, trainer development, and innovative PD opportunities across Australia.
