Robyn Jorgensen
Author and Emeritus Professor
Robyn Jorgensen is a highly respected educator, researcher and author with a strong commitment to education and equity. Her work spans all sectors of schooling, workplace learning and educational transitions, with a particular focus on Indigenous, low socio-economic, rural, remote and isolated communities.
Robyn has led and contributed to major research projects across education, including current work exploring best practice in mathematics learning for Aboriginal students in remote and very remote locations. She also recently led an international research project in collaboration with industry examining the benefits of swimming for children under five.
Widely published, Robyn has authored books, book chapters, refereed journal articles, research reports and consultancy publications, with two further books due to be published later this year. She has been a Chief Investigator on more than 10 Australian Research Council grants and is currently Editor-in-Chief of the Mathematics Education Research Journal.
