Registrations

To ensure social-distancing protocols are met, SWIM are contractually bound by the Sea World Resort Conference Centre to not exceed Government-mandated room capacities. It is imperative that SWIMCON22 UNLEASHED! delegates select their preferred conference stream, course and social events at the time of registering to assist SWIM in ensuring delegate safety and COVID-19 event compliance.

Amendments to existing registrations can be requested by emailing [email protected] but are not guaranteed.

Late Registrations (after registration has closed)

Registrations for the conference will close one week prior to the starting date to enable appropriate pre-conference preparations. However, late registrations may be accepted onsite. A late fee of $50 AUD will be applied. Delegates who choose to register onsite will be required to pay for all related costs immediately by cash or credit card. Receipts will be provided when you register.

A late registration is any registration less than 1 week before the conference start date. In addition, there is a risk that social program functions may be fully subscribed. This policy has been implemented to enable a greater efficiency in the coordination necessary during the lead up to the conference, and to ensure the most enjoyable conference experience possible for everyone involved.

SWIMCON22 UNLEASHED! Program – Subject to Change

In the event SWIMCON22 UNLEASHED! speakers and course presenters are unable to fulfill their obligations due to unforeseen circumstances (such as travel restrictions), SWIM reserve the right to amend the SWIMCON22 UNLEASHED! Program accordingly.

In the event a Swim Australia course is cancelled, delegates will be provided an opportunity to select an alternative course or conference stream; or receive a refund, where applicable.

Swim Australia courses will be held offsite at Gold Coast Aquatic Centre (GCAC). Return transport from Sea World Resort will be provided to all course students. Bus departure times will be outlined on the SWIMCON22 UNLEASHED! Program and course confirmation email. In the event you are unable to catch the bus, you will be required to arrange your own transport to/from GCAC.

Insurance

Registration fees do not include insurance of any kind. It is recommended that participants take out their own general travel insurance. It is suggested that the insurance policy should also cover loss of fees/deposit, airfares, accommodation charges, medical expenses, loss or damage to personal property and repatriation expenses. The insurance should cover loss arising from the cancellation of the conference by the organisers or a person’s inability to attend due to any reason whatsoever. No responsibility is taken by the conference managers for any person not holding insurance.
